Description
The Capital District Contracting Center at Fort Belvoir, Virginia is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this no tice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is W91QV107T0078. This is a firm fixed price requirements type contract.The period of pe rformance on this solicitation is 12 months from the time of award. As per the Statement of Work, and Administrative Assistant is needed to serve as an administrative assistant in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management G-6 of th e U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command.In this capacity, the incumbent provides administrative type support to technical and management level personnel. This includes, but in not limited to, documentation planning and support, project on behalf of the Deputy Chief of staff for members on the organization, methods, and procedures associated with administrative and coordinating administration functions within the command.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS.The administrative assistant selected for the performance of this statement of work must have. A. detailed knowledge of administrative practices and procedures. B. skills in oral communication to clearly explain regulations, procedures, etc. to others. C.exceptional computer proficiency, strong organizational sk ills, superior clerical aptitude, well developed communications. English and grammar skills and proficiency in Microsoft office. 4.SPECIFIC TASKS. A. specialized in coordinating and planning office administration and support B. reports directly to the clie nt, usually at the client location, to support its operations as required C. understands and provides documentation planning and support, project administration and general office support D. perform other duties as assigned. 5.PLACE AND PERIOD OF PERFORMAN CE, WORK DAYS AND TRAVEL. a. Place of Performance. all work will be at the performers location. 6010 10 6th street, Bldg 1465, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060.b. Period of performance. the period of performance shall be from the effective date of the delivery ord er through the following 12 months. c. Work Days. Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week.d. Travel: none.6. RESTRICTIONS:Must be a U.S. citizen. 7.SECURITY CLEARANCE: secret.Command: U. S. Army Criminal Investigative Command. 10.RELEVANCE: this work will support DCSIM in completing CIDC mission.The following clauses and provisions are applicable.
