Description

The U. S. Geological Survey intends to make award on a sole source basis, to SIRTRACK, Ltd in Havelock North, New Zealand for GPS/VHF telemetry units for nutria research. Following extensive market research, SIRTRACK, Ltd. is the only company identified that meets USGS requirements for ultra-light weight collars for semi-acquatic mammals. HTes collars are specifically designed to to track semi-acquatic mammals to determine habitat and use of exotic nutria. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about September 21, 2007 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334290. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
