- Description
- 19 competitive NSNs in FSC 3110. Items are either source control or configuration control. Solicitation will be for the set up of a firm fixed price Indefinite Quantity Type contract with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. Offers will be evaluated on a line by line basis. Multiple contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Contractors may submit an offer on as many NSNs as they have the capability to perform. Terms are FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at both Origin and Destination. A quality matrix will be provided with the solicitation which will annotate the items requiring origin inspection. The solicitation will contain mandatory surge requirements. Possible shipment locations will be any CONUS stock facility. The anticipated solicitation issue date is November 28, 2007 but this date is subject to change. The closing date is anticipated to be December 28, 2007. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
