Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A written statement of work and attachments is available from the addressee below. We have a requirement for all necessary labor, materials, and equipments to remove approximately (contrac tor to verify number) 94 lightning protection poles (average 60 foot in length) from the 200 series pads and pad 304. Removal shall include complete removal of wooden poles, guy anchor, ground rods, all underground cabling, test well boxes, guy wire, and all associated wiring at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point North Carolina. There is an urgent and compelling need to expedite the purchase of this award. Contract will be FFP, FOB Destination. Site visit will be held on 20 Sep 2007 at 0900 hours. Site vi sit is mandatory. Meeting place for site visit is Public Works Bldg 3, 6280 Sunny Point Road, South, Southport, North Carolina 28461. If access is needed, please meet Mr Russell Grgeory at main gate at 0830. Conifirm attaendance prior to arrival. This re quirement is being solicited as open market. There is one contract line, item (0001) for a quantity of 1 lot. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. You must be registered and current in the Central Contr ac tor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). Award shall be made to the least price responsible/responsive vendor which provides the best value. The following clauses and provisions are applicable.
