Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. W912CM-07-T-0218 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20. NAICS code is 511210. 3. Requirement: CLIN 0001: SOFTWARE UPGRADE, UPDATE EXPERT TO PROTECT (latest version), 3,000 each. Software is for Information Assurance. Deliver FOB. Destination to USAG Hessen, ATTN: David Eyerly, Yorkhof Kaserne, Geb 1206, Chemnitzer Strasse 1, 63 452 Hanau. Germany. 4. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. Award will be made to low priced offer considering the best value to the Government. Best value in terms that the software provided is compatible with existing software and can provide t he required upgrade at the least cost to the Government. 5. Bidders are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. 6. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items JUN 2007 (Deviation) apply to this acquisition. 7. The contractor shall provide the warranty in accordance with normal commercial practice. 8. The date, time and place offers are due on or before 24 Sep 07.
