Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 002 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR SMALL FLEX UNIVERSAL FORM AND TRIM SYSTEM AND TOOLING. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to address the following offeror's question(s): Q1) Can you provide more detailed specifications than those on the solitication. A1) All of the specifications have been posted in the original solicitation. Q2) What type of electronic components does the system need to work on? A2) This system works on Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Flat Package electronic components with soldering leads in either 2-sided or 4-sided configurations. Q3) Is there a product on the market that meets this specification? If not, do the NASA people involved with this solicitation know of a product close to these specifications that is currently under development? A3) We believe that there are products out there that meet these specifications. Products of this type have been available on the market for several years and are commonly used in the electronics manufacturing industry, which is the reason for this solicitation. Q4) When do you need delivery? In 1, 3, 6 or 12 months? A4) Up to three monthd delivery is acceptable. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to September 20th, 2007. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on September 12,2007. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
