Description

The Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood, TX, has a requirement for Integrated Information Display & Dissemination System (IDS5) software product suite. US Army Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Airfield management (Base Operat ions) facilities, Fort Hood, TX has a requirement for items to meet an existing need that must interface with the current N-TFS components currently in place with the US Air Force/Army Joint Environmental Toolkit (JET) consolidated weather program. This n otice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued (oral offers will not be accepted). Systems Atlanta, Inc (SAI) is the only known software designer and distributor of these products. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated software within the established timeframe is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Speci alist within the timeframe stated below. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the stated supplies within the established timeframe. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist via e- mail at: madge.lewis@us.army.mil. Responses received from other responsible businesses prior to 16:00 pm Central Standard Time on 21 September 2007 will be evaluated. No telephone responses will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Directorate of Contracting will proceed with the sole source contr act. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (19-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
