Description: The North Dakota Army National Guard is providing notice of its intent to sole source the procurement of a modular Military Weapons Storage Vault to be installed in an existing building located in Fargo, ND to Custom Vault Corporation. This organiza tion has a requirement for a custom vault 10 10 wide x 2010 deep x79 high (outside dimensions) Panel thickness at 5 with three (3) 1 ½ offset conduit openings. Vault door is a Class-5 built to conform to GSA Specification AA-D-600. 40 wide x 78 high single leaf, w/one group 1 S&G 8550 series combination lock with an emergency escape mechanism. The five sided vault consists of a ceiling section with four walls. The wall panels will be anchored to existing concrete slab and the connection angl e that anchors these panels will be welded to each interior wall panel. The system incorporates access for phone, electric, alarm, HVAC and possibly sprinkler systems. In addition the interior vault ceiling support system is designed to incorporate the ex isting building columns, structural steel and its own structural support system, while not encroaching on the anticipated internal rack/storage system. This purchase will include all CV engineered vault shop drawings, fabrication, freight, delivery and ins tallation of modular vault systems, internal vault structural steel, and GSA vault door. Vault will be installed and operational 28 December 2007 to receive and store military weapons for the CSB the first week of January 2008. Building plans are availab le upon request.
