- Description
- The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for three refurbished Kodak 9500 scanners and maintenance of the same scanners. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-7-00047 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-18 dated 05-July-2007. CLIN001 Refurbished Kodak 9500 scanners., quantity 3 each. The warranty for these systems shall be a minimum of 90 days from its successful installation and shall include parts, labor, and installation. Service period on two (2) units from expiration of warranty through 30-June-2008, service period on one (1) unit from expiration of warranty through 30-Sep-2008. Maintenance service shall include all parts, labor, and travel. The services shall be provided from 7:00 A.M. through 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday except Federal Holidays, with a 2-hour response by phone, on site response, same day or next day if call placed before 2:00pm. Vendor technicians need to remain available to follow up on any rework required. Please quote a monthly cost per unit. Delivery is FOB shipping point. The Bureau of the Census has five (5) 9500 scanners to be used as trade in units. The Census Bureau will accept no less than $500.00 trade in credit per unit towards the purchase of the three units requested on CLIN 001. All shipping charges related to the five (5) trade in units are to be paid by the winning bidder. Ship to location U. S. Census Bureau, 1201 East 10th Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47132, Attn: Receiving Section Bldg. 60 F. Acceptance at same location. Delivery on or before 10-12-07. Awardees will have to register at CCR.gov and complete a U.S. Census Bureau's vender registration form.
