- The FISC Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Preventative Maintenance (PM), Safety Inspections (SI), and Repair of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and MHE Repair Parts in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Services under this acquisition are for Naval Air Station (NAS)Brunswick, ME. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00189-07-T-G036. The NAICS code is 811310 - Material Handling Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services and the small business standard is $ 6.5 Million. This is a total small business competitive action. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Contracts Specialist via e-mail or fax ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Lack of registration in the central contractor registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov) will make an offeror ineligible for award. The government anticipates release of the RFQ during October 02-05.
