Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a competitive Purchase Order for the acquisition and installation of a greenhouse in Bishop CA, on the grounds of the White Mountain Research Station (WMRS). The greenhouse will be 36' long x 30' wide x 15'-9 " high. The side wall of the greenhouse will be 8' high. The vendor will install a concrete reinforced pad. The greenhouse will be built on the pad. There will be a ramp on the north end of the pad and a step on the south. The greenhouse will have double doors on the north side and a single door on the south. The greenhouse will withstand winds up to 90mph and snow or ice accumulation on the roof up to 30lbs per square foot. Hook up to utilities at WMRS is required. Voltage will be 110. The greenhouse must maintain a temperature range of not lees than 35 degrees F and not more than 90 degrees F. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals and interested parties may identify their interest by requesting the Request for Quote (RFQ) from the Contracting Specialist by email (sevans@usgs.gov) not later than the date shown in the announcement. Interested parties will include the firm's name, primary point of contact, phone number, email address, and DUNS number.
