- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for quote (RFQ) numbered F2MUEW7257A001. The Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency (AF ISR Agency) wishes to acquire the items indicated herein on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302, 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). Justification: Supplies or services required are available only from one responsible source, MAK Technologies, 68 Moulton St, Cambridge MA 02138. The Software Maintenance is scheduled to begin 1 Oct 07 and end on 30 Sep 07. Pricing is required for the following CLINS: 0001, VR-Link Dev. Maintenance, P/N: VRL-TK-MN, Qty: 5 EA; 0002, Annual Maintenance on VR-Link RT for DICE, PN: VRL-DIC-MN, Qty: 16 EA: 0003 RTI Plus Library Maintenance, PN: RTP-DVL-MN, Qty: 2 EA; 0004, Annual Maintenance on RTI DICE, PN: RTI-DIC-MN, Qty: 4 EA. 0005, MAK StealthXR Maintenance, PN: VRL-XR-MN, Qty: 2 EA, 0006, Data Logger Maintenance, P/N: VRL-DL-MN, Qty: 2 EA, 0007, PVD Maintenance, PN: VRL-PVD-MN, Qty 2 EA, and 0008, Annual Maintenance on MAK FOM Agile Gateway, PN: VRL-GATE-MN, Qty: 1 EA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received prior to the date of closure will be considered by the Government. This requirement is NOT set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210, $23M. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through DCN 20060908. The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability to meet the Government?s requirement, price, and delivery date.
