- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all supplies and services necessary for standard commercial Physical Fitness Facility gym memberships to include, at a minimum: the facility, all equipment needed for cardiovascular fitness, strength conditioning, aerobics classes, walking and jogging programs. The contractor shall provide cardiovascular equipment, strength conditioning equipment, aerobics classes and walking and jogging programs. The Physical Fitness Facility must meet the needs for all DoD personnel assigned to the Pentagon, but working out of a Government leased buildings. The contractor shall be located within 1 mile of the Government Silver Spring location at 8455 Colesville Road, Silver Springs MD 20910. All work will be performed at the Fitness Facility. The contractor shall provide unlimited access during normal operating hours and shall offer all discounts normally extended to most favored members. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 713940 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. Performance period is 12 months (01 Oct 2007 through 30 Sep 2008) with three option years. The proposed contract is competitively set-aside for 100% small business. The solicitation will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 24 August 07, http://www.fbo.gov. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED. No fax/telephone requests will be accepted. Prospective Offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. This notice does not obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. **NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR RESGISTRTION BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
