- Description
- This synopsis is issued to announce a sole source award to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) for provision of a stable, secure network environment capable of hosting functional business software and hardware, particularly those unique to the Air Force Institute for Operational Health, SDE division (AFIOH/SDE). Major unique functional areas are to include, but are not limited to the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) data laboratory module, operations and file server support. CHCS is part of a broad spectrum data management system, which is sponsored and managed by the Department of Defense (DoD). The CHCS system software component is provided by SAIC. The resulting contractual action will support the DoD Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO), Composite Health Care System Laboratory Module. SAIC has the CHCS software written in the variant Digital Standard MUMPS (DSM) of the MUMPS language. SAIC personnel are highly specialized and uniquely trained with the specific expertise required to utilize the system management of CHCS. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 541511 and the small business qualification size is $23,000,000.
