- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W911SDDOZERWINCH is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20 dated September 6, 2007. This will be a 100% set aside for a Small Business under N AICS Code 423810 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Crawler Dozer which we propose to purchase will be listed as Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 with a quantity of one (1) each to be delivered FOB destination to the U.S. Military Academy, Wes t Point , NY with a required delivery date of 28 December 2007. The exact delivery location will be annotated on the subsequent award. The specifications are as follows: Caterpillar D6N XL or D6K XL; John Deere 750J; or Komatsu D61EX; or equal, with Enclo sed Cab w/ Heat & A/C, Hydrostatic Drive System, VPAT Blade and Paccar PA50 Winch (or equal thereto).
