- Description
- This is a sources sought notice issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is not a request for proposals and should not be construed as a commitment by the government. EPA currently is conducting market research to determine the existence of firms interested in providing services in support of EPA?s National Security Emergency Preparedness Program. The draft statement of work (SOW) entitled "NSEP" is available at http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod/index.htm#sources. (This draft SOW is subject to change and does not commit the EPA to a particular approach or contract type.) EPA will use responses to this notice to make appropriate acquisition decisions. EPA envisions competing the requirement among qualified 8(a) companies and ultimately making an award of one contract on or about March 15, 2007. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541620. OF PARTICULAR IMPORTANCE IS THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: ALL ON-SITE CONTRACTOR STAFF MUST HAVE TOP-SECRET CLEARANCES AT TIME OF AWARD. The anticipated period of performance includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with a total contract period of five years. Potential offerors should express interest by sending the following information to the contracting officer at cranford.jennifer@epa.gov: company name, address, company size and specific socio-economic status (e.g., SDB, HUB-zone, SDVOSB 8(a), Native American, Alaska Native, etc), point of contact, title, telephone number, e-mail address, and, in five pages or fewer, a description of the company?s qualifications, demonstrated experience and expertise to perform all aspects of the statement of work. Standard company brochures will not provide sufficient information. Questions should be submitted to cranford.jennifer@epa.gov. SUBMIT CAPABILITY STATEMENTS NO LATER THAN 2:00 PM Eastern time October 30, 2007.
