- Description
- The 5th Contracting Squadron requires the installation of multiple split air conditioning units and the necessary electrical improvements to handle the load in Dorm buildings 122 & 123 at Minot Air Force Base, ND. The work is 5% General, 60% Mechanical, and 35% Electrical for Dorm 123 and 5% General, 70% Mechanical, and 25% Electrical for Dorm 122. The statement of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance Period is 150 days. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A 1 year warranty of construction is required. The complete package will be available only through the Internet. The address is http://www.fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the Internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on the Internet. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the Internet to update files. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220. The small business size standard is $13,000,000 in average annual receipts for the past 3 years. This project will be solicited as full and open to both large and small businesses with the intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract; based on Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable. FAR Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns is applicable to this solicitation.
