ACTION: P - PRESOLICITATION NOTICE 08ER080006 CONTACT: Jacob E. Smith The U.S. Geological Survey, WRD Discipline located in Middleton, WI has identified a need for website development and programming. The objective of this effort is to design, develop, load and serve USGS water-quality data in a format defined by a developed XML schema. A web services application will be developed as the mechanism to serve the water-quality data over the internet. Ultimately, the resultant system will be used by a wide variety of U.S. Geological Survey customers. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required items based on the RFQ 08ER08006 are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. THIS ACQUSITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. The Product Service code is D308 The NAICS code is 541511. Quotes are due at 3:00PM EST on 10/03/2007. The anticipated award date is 10/11/2007. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a quotation.
