Description

The proposed contract action is one for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intended source is Sage International Limited, CAGE 0Y503, 3391 Eberh ardt Street, Oscodo MI 48750-1143. The items to be procured are 500 each of the following: the Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR) Tactical Aluminum Chassis Stock with Telescoping Buttstock, Adjustable Cheek Rest and Full Butt Pad, MFG PN B009039; the M14 EBR St ripper Clip Sight Base with Picatinny Rail Section, MFG PN B009042; the Sage Vertical Fore Grip, MFG PN B009045; and the Sage Cantilevered over-the-action telescopic sight mount, MFG PN B009053. The EBR Tactical Chassis Stock System is proprietary to Sage International. Sage International is the only supplier that can insure inventory interchangeability of these items and the only supplier that can provide the Government with these fully interchangeable spare parts prior to the Required Delivery Date of D ecember 2007. Estimated issue date of solicitation is 16 October 2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. There is no Technical Data available for the above items. All r esponsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
