- THIS IS NOT A SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. THIS RFP IS OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUISNESS CONCERNS. AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood, Colorado is requesting proposals from qualified and eligible firms capable to furnish and deliver three, single-compartment 500 gallon, fish transport tanks for the Creston National Fish Hatchery, Flathead, MT (One of the three tanks shall have, as an integral part of its construction, a 60 gallon external water-only compartment). The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The total performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is open to both large and small buisness concerns. The NAICS code is 326199 and small business size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about October 18, 2007 with an anticipated closing date of November 16, 2007. A payment bond or irrecovable letter of credit will be required. Offerors not providing a payment bond or irrecovable letter of credit may not be considered for contract award. This will be a best value type of solicitation whereby the government may award to other than the low price offeror. Past Performance and Experience will be considered approximately equal as to Price. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at www.fbo.gov once available for issuance.
