- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for 4 AV7002 tripod, Double PTZ Camera, case, 4 Tactical Double Video Nodes, antenna assembly, AV1500 Base Display Unit and AV1607 Antenna. [SPECIFICATIONS] The specifications are: AV7002 Tripod, Double PTZ Camera Heavy-duty tripod camera units Invertible cameras for up or down horizons Full pan, tilt and zoom capability 23x optical zoom Low-light ability 0.1 lux Ballistic dome cameras (2) AV7002-CC Case, Double Tripod Rugged, durable design Heavy-duty thermoformed Custom-formed foam insert 3) AV 7520 Tactical Double Video Node Full, real-time visibility from all tactical deployment vantage points Transmit, receive and relay from all nodes concurrently Optimized for mobile applications Self-contained power and charger Frequency range from 2.4 to 5.8 GHZ (including 4.9 ? This vendor can meet the rapid deployment date for the equipment and wireless connectivity requirements. A market survey was conducted by NASA Dryden?s technical representative and this vendor was the only one that could meet the stringent deadlines. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on October 15, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
