Description
The Veterans Administration is seeking to award a single contract for Annual Switch Gear Testing and Calibration at Harry S. Truman Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) 800 Hospital Drive Columbia Mo 65201. The Contractor shall be responsible for switchgear testing and calibration for all high, medium and low voltage maintenance and repairs that fall within the attached scope of the work in the solicitation. The Contractor shall maintain all high and medium voltage switches, transformers, switchgear, enclosures, breakers, busses, and grounding systems located at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Administration Medical Center in accordance with ANSI, NEC and manufacturer specifications. The Contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified in this contract. The majority of work will be accomplished at night and after the normal working hours. Normal working hours are 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday thru Friday after normal working hours. Testing and calibration services will be performed in compliance with State, Federal, JCAHO, NFPA, and OSHA regulations. The contract will be completed within Ten days (10) after contract award. There will be only one pre-award site visit scheduled for this project held at the Harry S. Truman VAMC. Contractor will meet for the site visit at Facilities Management Office Bldg 22 Conference room, at 0900 A.M. CST October 16, 2007. Interested offerors should attend this meeting to look inspect the work site and obtain information on the project before submitting a proposal. This work has been set aside for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned company. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238210. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1731. The small business size standard is $13 Million. FBO Note 29 is applicable to this notice.
