PRON: AX8F5003AX, NSN: 5340-01-285-6326, PN: 7-311D10023-3, QUANTITY: 84 each, applicable to AH-64 Apache with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Cage Code 8V613, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualif ied source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 42 each due 321 Days After contract Award (DACA)and 42 each month thereafter until contract completion. Production Lead-time with out First Article Testing is 42 each due 214 DACA and 42 each month thereafter until contract completion. Production Lead-time with Alternate II Clause is 42 each due 268 DACA and 42 each month thereafter until contract completion. Firms that recognize a nd can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are remi nded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All res ponsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 22, 23 and 26.
