Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to clean approximately 72 storm drains/catch basins throughout the Providence VA Medical Center Campus. The work includes obtaining of all necessary permits to perform the work in accordance with US EPA, RI DEM, and Narragansett Bay Commission rules and regulations; cleaning the storm drains of all solid debris; and disposal of debris based on determination of hazardous or non-hazardous materials based on the testing results. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial item solicitation for the base year work and four options to perform the work in the next four fiscal years. Work for FY08 shall be performed by November 15, 2007. The solicitation issue date is October 17, 2007 with a response date of October 31, 2007. The evaluation factors are: (1) Past Performance; (2) Ability to meet delivery schedule; (3) price. The estimated cost range of this project for the base and four options is $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns only. The applicable NAICS code is 562998 and the size standard is $6.5 million.
