- U. S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide 103,940 pounds of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA), Grade B, Class 2 IAW MIL-P-265C w/Note 3 dtd 24 Feb 04 Celvol 09-0325, Pre-mixed in water to a 6% solids solution. PVA will be packaged in 55 gallon non-returnable drums. Drums will be palletized. FOB Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR. ASC intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-08-R-3001 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business W ebsite, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about 15 Nov 2007 with opening 30 days from issuance. This contract will be covered under NAICS 325199. Small Business for this NAICS is 1000 employees or less. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. There will be a 100% option quantity available on the base contract. There will be the possibility of four option years, each with a 100% option quantity on this contract. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors shall complete an Online Rep resentations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendments applicable to this solicitation will be posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the c ontractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation.
