Description
The Joint Program Management Office (JPMO) Light Weight 155mm Howitzer (LW155), as manager of towed artillery digitization efforts, is seeking Sources for Software Development Support, including working with representatives from other programs, the interoperability community, the test community and the user community at Ft. Sill, including TCM Cannon & TCM FSE3. These services may cover the entire span of technology associated with the JPMO and will augment existing resources with experience and capability which either is not readily available or exceeds in-house capabilities. Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate orally and in writing, familiarity and experience with fire support, field artillery and interoperability are essential. The following support areas are being sought: (1) System Engineer participating in the system trade study program, risk management program, requirements management using the DOORS requirements management tool, managing external interfaces and provide test site support during system development, (2) Systems Analyst participating in the SW IPT, development of software requirements, interface with FSSWG (Fire Support System Working Group), Comms Subgroup and BRB (Ballistics Review Board), integration of the NABK, development of message and mission threads, development of the AFATDS ISD, provide support to GCDs (Government Confidence Demonstration), work closely with the CTSF (Central Technical Support Facility) Interface management, and provide support to test sites during system development. Personnel will work full-time and will be co-located at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. It is anticipated that the duration of the effort will be a base year with two (2) Single Year Options, exercised at the Governments discretion.
