- AMENDMENT P0001: SUBJECT RFP IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: 1. SUBJECT RFP IS HEREBY RE-OPENED. 2. SF 1449, BOX 8; AMEND TO READ 1500 HOURS, EDT, 18 OCTOBER 2007 3. MSC DRYVOY 02 (12-02) BOX 6; AMEND LAYTIME TO READ ?FIVE (5) DAYS SSHINC.? 4. MSC DRYVOY 02 (12-02) PART X(C); AMEND TO READ ?THE OFFEROR AGREES TO HOLD THE PRICES IN ITS OFFER FIRM UNTIL 1700 EDT ON 19 OCTOBER 2007.? (FIRM FOR 26 HOURS) 5. OFFERORS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED OFFERS UNDER THIS RFP MUST REAFFIRM, IN WRITING, THEIR OFFERS. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RENDER SUCH OFFERS INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. 6. Vessel(s) Required: Request (voyage charter) self-sustaining US Flag / Foreign Flag RO/RO, LO/LO or combination RO/RO & LO/LO vessel to lift approximately 278 pieces of cargo totaling 25,584 square feet. The cargo consists of rolling stock, containers, break bulk, construction equipment and 7 containers with ammo that are to be secured using patent chain lashings and binder lashings. Vessel must be able to accommodate 10 meter depth restriction at the Tengan Pier. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and Section IIIA.3 of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) (see 69 FEDERAL REGISTER 25166-25168, May 5, 2004, or most current reference), preference will be given to U.S. flag vessels and VISA participants. 2. Cargo Description: ? 278 pieces totaling 25,584 square feet; Packing list available upon request. ? Cargo consists of following hazardous material: CONTAINERIZED AMMO. (Class 1.1B, 1.1D, 1.1E, 1.2D, 1.2G, 1.3C, 1.3G, 1.4C, 1.4G, 1.4S). ? Total NEW is 26,876 lbs. 2a. Load: Free In. (See Part V (d) below) 2b. Discharge: Free Out. 3.
