Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitation is not available at this time. A request for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas has a future requirement for an Advanced Occupational Education (post-secondary) certificate program in Business Management. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Contractor must be an accredited post-secondary school. Contractor must have experience in establishing and overseeing certification programs in advanced education and business management. This program should consist of two five-course (fifteen credit) modules, each leading to a one-year certificate in a distinct aspect of business management. Classes must be scheduled so that students can complete each module within the one year time frame. Classes will be comprised of 15 - 20 male inmate students. It is anticipated a Contractor will provide a site coordinator and instructor(s) for this service. All information concerning this requirement will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The response date for the market survey is November 2, 2007. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the market survey will be accepted. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to the above listed address. Questionnaires may also be faxed to 972-352-4545 (Attn: Dennis Dempsey) or e-mailed to d1dempsey@bop.gov. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The web site for registration is www.ccr.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 611310 and the applicable small business standard is $6.5 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
