- Description
- Balancing Assembly, B1-B aircraft fuel system, AB fuel pump 9334M41, F101GE102 engine. Dimensions: Impellar diameter is 4.35 inches. Shaft diameter is 2 inches. Material: MS 5355 and AMS 6265 steel. Length is approximately 11 inches. Item is a component of the augmentor fuel pump, IT contains a shaft and impellar. Shaft provides center axis on which the impellar rotates and pumps fuel to the augmentor fuel control. Anticipated quantity range to be solicited is between 6 EA and 33 EA. Best Estimated Quantity is currently 22 EA. Final quantity will be determined at time of award. Delivery is on or before 30 JAN 2009. QRs apply and sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. At this time only Hamilton Sunstrand is qualified. The government does not own the data or rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. Firms interested in this requirement should contact Hamilton Sunstrand for possible subcontracting opportunities. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Anticipated solicitation issue date is 9 Nov 2007. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to dimish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Obudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Obudsman does not paricipate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
