Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3Z1017263AQ01; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19 and Defense DCN 20070913. This acquisition will be advertised as full and open. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488190. The business size standard is $6 million. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 1680. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8999. This request for quotation consists of the following: Item 0001: Contractor will service CRU 87/U Liquid Oxygen Converters in accordance with T.O. 15X-2 for the period of eleven months 01 Nov 2007 through 30 Sep 2008. Liquid LOX is converted into gaseous oxygen to support patients requiring oxygen therapy during flight. Portable oxygen is required for all C-130 and KC-135 aeromedical evacuation missions. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows: price and technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
