- Description
- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for Enterprise and Local Applications Support Services on Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to, assisting NAVFAC Hawaii Single Platform Maximo (SPM) users and CIO staff on a daily basis with trouble issues related to emergency, specific, minor and recurring work order processing, purchasing, equipment, and deficiency tracking in the MAXIMO work management system. Contractor will prepare Oracle SQL scripts on a weekly basis to accomplished system data updates and corrections, enforcing/disabling triggers (requires advanced knowledge of MAXIMO and NAVFAC SPM) as required in order for scripts to run correctly. Contractor will test scripts, and coordinate script processing with NAVFAC Information Technology Center (NITC) to ensure that update scripts execute correctly, and that they are processed through the test, acceptance, and production tiers as required. Contractor will create and maintain local databases and reports of work order, purchasing, deficiency, equipment SPM information utilizing HTMLDB-PL/SQL, MS Access/VBA, MS Excel/VBA, and MS Project/VBA as required. Contractor will monitor and maintain system interfaces to SLDCADA, DWAS, eApps, handhelds, working capital and general fund engineering management systems (EMS), Operational Data Store (ODS), and other external vendor interfaces to ensure that operations are successfully processed and that data is updated as required. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 24 months. The NAICS Code for these services is 541511 and the annual size standard is $23,000,000. Interested sources capable of providing the required services must respond by e-mail to sandy.sekiguchi@navy.mil no later than November 5, 2007. Interested sources shall respond with a statement of their capability, and must indicate their size status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB)). Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. This sources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on responses to this notice. This Sources Sought Synopsis is not a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing an RFP. If issued, the solicitation will utilize source selection procedures which will require offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
