- This ammendment serves as notice of a site visit to view the pallet racking in Hangar 5 and the Hangar 9 location where the pallet racking will be moved to and assembled and bolted to the concrete floor. The site visit will be conducted on Tuesday, 30 October 2007 at 1400. Please identify no more than one person per interested vendor to Lara Staley at lara.staley@hickam.af.mil or 808-448-2973 prior to 1000 HST on the day of the site visit, 30 OCT 07. Your previously identified representative should meet at the Hickam AFB Main Gate Pass and ID office no later than 1345 to be taken to the site. Please also ensure that you or your representative brings with them a current driver's license, vehicle registration and safety sticker as well as proof of insurance for their vehicle. In addition a photograph of the existing pallet racking/mobile carriage system is available. Please be advised that the mobility of the carriage system has been disabled. The carriage system/pallet racking is no longer moblie and stays in a stationary postion. Please submit your request for a copy of the photo to Lara Staley at lara.staley@hickam.af.mil END OF AMENDMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number for this procurement is F2CT737289A001 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 2007-0802 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2007-0531. For informational purposes the North American Industry Classification System code is 1238990, with a small business size standard of $913. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed priced contract. Contract will consist of ONE (1) line item. Delivery and acceptance will be FOB destination for services; Hickam AFB, Hawaii 96853. CLIN 0001 Disassemble 25 sections of Advanced Storage Products brand pallet racking (16 Sections off of Mobile Carriage System, 9 Sections from Bolted Floor) in Hangar 5, 600 Hangar Ave., Bldg 2045. Move the disassembled pallet rackings to Hangar 9, 600 Hangar Ave., Bldg 2040. Reassemble the pallet rackings and anchor the pallet racking into the concrete floors with anchor bolts in Hangar 9. Each section of pallet rack is approximately 9.6' in length and 4' in width. The height of the racks is 12 feet. Job must be completed no later than 16 November 2007. Quantity: 1 Quotes should be in the following format: Total price for the item(s) and services described above and in the SOW. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is determined to be the most advantageous to the Government. Award will be made to the lowest evaluated price among quotes meeting (or exceeding) technical acceptability. Offeror must ensure the provision FAR 52.212-3 (Alt I), Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (this must be completed on http://orca.bpn.gov), DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance Payment Program Certificate (Jun 2005) is included with the quotation.
