Description

Department of Veterans Affairs-Intent to Sole Source. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Merge Healthcare, 6737 W Washington St, Milwaukee, WI. The requirement of for a non-standard service contract from date of award until 9/30/08, for the follwing equipment: E4501 Server, Storage Array, Add-on NAS, Data Bridge, matrix server, smartCR preferred system, this equipment is not all inclusive. All equipment shall be maintained in proper operating conditions as specified by the manufacturer, with OEM parts and manuals. Hours of coverage 8Am to 8PM, Mon-Fri and next day on-site service calls. Vendor must provide documentation of substantital experience working on the identified make and model equipment. Vendor will provide all software updates upon release at no cost to the government throughout the life of this contract.This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, for other than full and open competition. THis notice is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
