Description
The National Park Service intends to award a sole-source contract to Jackson Hole Apartments for furnished rental housing for employees. This award will be for from 6-15 units on an as-needed basis and will range from 4-12 months. A mix of Studio, One-bedroom and Two-bedroom units is necessary. This proposed action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their written interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competetive proposals. All expressions of interest received by November 7, 2007 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competetive procurement. Contract evaluation factors being considered are: adequate capacity to provide all necessary units in one location, experience in providing and managing rental apartments, and a desire to rent apartments that are furnished with appliances, beds and furniture deemed adequate for housing needs. Any prospective firm must demonstrate provision of housing in difficult markets. The housing units must be available in Teton County, Wyoming so employees will have commuting distances of no more than 25 miles one way. Work is to be completed under NAISC code 531110. Estimated price range is between $50,000 and $140,000 per year.
