- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California Army National Guard intends to award a Blanket Purchase Order (BPA) for the issue and cleaning of coveralls and shop towels on a weekly basis to Task Force Steel Castle, 22 51 Dairy Mart Road, San Diego, CA 92154. Contractor will provide initial issue of olive drab or navy blue coveralls and (1) bundle of 200 each grade B or better shop towels. Additionally, contractor will provide a weekly pick up and exchange for clean s erviceable coveralls; bi-weekly for shop towels. This will be for a total of (19) mechanics to be issued (2) coveralls each for a total of (38) coveralls. Employee numbers may increase or decrease over the course of the year. Calls will be made by the BPA Call Officer and will typically be prescheduled. Contractor will provide serviceable coveralls when issued sets become unserviceable . Award will be based on lowest price. Payment will be on a monthly basis (one invoice). Contract is from the date of award thru 9/30/12 at the discretion of the government. Economic price adjustments will be considered at the start of each Fiscal Year (October). Environmental fees and service charges to be included with bid. If a change occurs in this requirement after closing, only those Offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. All vendors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registr ation (CCR). Duns & Bradstreet, CAGE Code & Federal Tax ID numbers MUST be submitted with quote.
