- LACKLAND AFB BASE TRANSIENT ALERT SERVICES Contracting Office Address: Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Lackland AFB, 37th Contracting Squadron, 1655 Selfridge Ave., Lackland AFB, TX 78236-5253 Description: SYNOPSIS: This is a Presolicitation notice for Non-personal services to provide transient alert services. The successful offeror will be required to provide trained and qualified personnel, supplies, some specific equipment, management and other services to perform transient alert aircraft services, aircraft utility work and aerospace and ground support equipment for a period of five years (base year plus four option years). Services are to be performed at the Kelly Annex of Lackland Air Force Base, TX with performance beginning as early as 0600 and continuing through 2200, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. On Saturdays and Sundays, beginning at 0800 and continuing until 2200, excluding federal holidays. Services must be performed in accordance with Air Force Instruction AFI 21-101, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance Management and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The North American Standard Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is expected to be 488119; the size standard is $6,500,000. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The Service Contract Act of 1965 applies to this requirement. An electronic solicitation for this requirement is anticipated to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) on or about the beginning of Oct 07. Anticipated base period of performance is 1 December 2007 thru 30 September 2008, with four one-year options. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), must have a DUNS number, and a Tax ID number.
