Description

NSN 4720-01-026-6161. ESTIMATED YEARLY QUANTITY IS 2,189. UNIT OF ISSUE IS FT. CODE AND PART NUMBER: PARKER HANNIFIN (50599) P/N T3500-12; EATON CORP (00624) P/N AE246-12. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Subject requirement is for acquisition of one (1) NSN for various end items. Proposed procurement includes item within FSC 4720. See note 26. Requirement will result in award of Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) contract for which delivery orders may be placed for three (3) years. Solicitiation will be available in FedBizOpps on November 5, 2007 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/, Scope of this contract includes acquisition of a 1C code and part number item. AMSC code implies that this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Delivery for acquisition will be FOB Destination. Proposed procurement contains an option to extend contract period two times at the discretion of the Government. Total duration (base year plus two (2) option years) shall not exceed three (3) years. Final award decision will be based on evaluation of price, delivery and past performance. Solicitation will be issued as UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT.
