CODE AND SPECIFICATION NUMBER: I/A/W SPEC NR MIL-DTL-8788E, BASIC DTD 20 MAR 02, AMEND NR E DTD, TYPE NUMBER: B8788-16; I/A/W ST NR MIL-STD-129P(3), REFNO DTD 20 MAR 02, AMEND NR P DYD, TYPE NUMBER: TYPE 1 SHELF LIFE 120 MON. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Subject requirement is for acquisition of one (1) NSN for various end items. Proposed procurement includes an item from the 4720 Federal Stock Class. See notes 9 and 26. Requirement will result in award of Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) contract for which delivery orders may be placed for three (3) years. Solicitation will be available in FedBizzOpps on November 5, 2007 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFQ/. Scope of contract includes acquisition of a 1T code and specification number item. AMSC code implies that acquisition of this part is controlled by QPL procedures. Proposed procurement contains option to extend the contract period two times at the discretion of the Government. Total duration (base year plus two (2) option years) shall not exceed three (3) years. Final award decision will be based on evaluation of price, delivery and past performance.
