- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement to continue the development of the National Forensic Laboratory Information System (NFLIS). The NFLIS collects results of seized drug analyses conducted by federal, state and local forensic laboratories across the country. Users access the centralized NFLIS database through the Interactive Data Site. Special, Midyear, and annual reports with national and regional projection estimates are generated according to the collected data. Tasks include laboratory recruitment, statistical sampling, quality control, data collection, data processing, data analysis, and report publication. A cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is contemplated. The estimated solicitation (RFP) issue date is on or before November 20, 2007 and will be posted electronically at the DEA Acquisition website. If is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site (http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/acquisitions_contracts.html) and click on Open Solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments and will be required to provide identification information at the time that download. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. Questions must be submitted in writing to Lisa Taylor at Lisa.Taylor2@usdoj.gov. This is a full and open competition. No set asides are involved. The proposed contract will have a period of performance of one year and four one-year options, beginning on March 1, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
