- The proposed procurement is Set Aside 100% for Small Businesses. NAICS Code: 562910, Size Standard is $500 employees. This procurement is being advertised as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Solicitation is scheduled to be released on November 2 1, 2007 Title: MULTIPLE AWARD RADIOLOGICAL SERVICES. Location: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District (USACE) and its customers located anywhere within the USACE North Atlantic Region boundaries and/or assigned mission areas. Price Range: $2 9,500,000. The Multiple Award Radiological Services (MARS) contracts awarded under this solicitation will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts for various Radiological & Environmental Remediation Services in support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District (USACE) and its customers located anywhere within the USACE North Atlantic Region boundaries and/or assigned mission areas. The contracts awarded will include performance based, cost-reimbursable and firm-fixed price features for a wid e range of radiological & environmental services at various known or suspected sites that have been impacted by radioactive material and/or contamination. Although not the primary focus of these contracts, the work may require actions to characterize and/ or remediate co-mingled or incidental munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) and/or hazardous-toxic waste materials. The Government intends to award multiple contracts as a result of this solicitation. The proposals will be evaluated and contracts wil l be awarded to the offerors providing the best value to the Government, which will be determined by use of a trade-off process. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Technical Data Solution System (FedTeDS) -- a one-time registration process for vendors/contractors -- Accounts may only be attained by CCR-registered contractors/vendors, go to www.fedteds.gov for additional information. After issuance of the solicitation, contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments at the following internet address: https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.vendorlogin?openform&SolicitationNumber=W912DR-08-R-000 7. Plans and specifications will be available in CD format. Use of the FedTeDS website requires prior registration at www.fedteds.gov. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FedTeDS web site (using the above link) for amendments to the solicitati on. You must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to receive a government contract award. You may register with the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors.
