- Description
- The Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JMTC) at Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) intends to award a three year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) contract for Hardwar and related it ems. The contract will consist of approximately 43 different items. The bulk of the contract will be commercially available fasteners such as screws, bolt, nuts, and washers. The VMI will be set-up at Rock Island Arsenal in support of the build of Shop Equipment Contact Maintenance (SECM) Vehicle. The minimum guaranteed quantity is hardware to support the build of 274 SECMs. This will be a limited best value contract, the offerors must have a t least three years of VMI experience in contracts of similar size and scope. The VMI experience and past performance will be evaluated on a Go/No Go Basis with the award going to the lowest-price, technically acceptable offeror. Contract will be subject to the Trade Agreements Act. Offerors will not be ranked ot her than Technically Acceptable or Not Technically Acceptable. This solicitation and any amendments will is issued electronically to the AFSI web site at https://acquisition.army.mil. Because of this , the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Interested parties must periodically access the internet address in order to obtain the solicitation and any amendments. Failure to obtain amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for re ceipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsible and result in refection of the offer.
