- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of the Chief Information Officer, Business Management Division (IM-40) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Corporate Executive Board Company of Washington, DC for the final nine months of the Infrastructure Executive Council (IEC) membership service from October 31, 2006 through July 29, 2007. Membership in the IEC provides IM-40 access to its database which includes the templates, business plans, and work flow items and implementation support covering such areas as service, product catalog, and technology road mapping initiatives. Only IEC has the framework that is necessary to build a flexible infrastructure portfolio to accommodate these requirements. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 15 calendar days of the publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
