Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis/solicitation HSCG38-08-Q-610002 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-21. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Award will be made to the offeror proposing the best value to the Government considering training acceptability, delivery, and price. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334511and the small business size standard is 750 employees. A Statement of Work (SOW) is available and can be found at: http://www.uscg.mil/hq/arsc/contracting/hc130j/c-130J.htm. This SOW defines the requirement to provide EL/M-2022A(V)3 Maritime Surveillance Radar (MSR) System technical operator training. The training shall consist of two (2) training classes, with each class not to exceed twenty (20) students for a total of 40 training quota. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed-price purchase order using simplified acquisition techniques. All responsible sources may submit offers in writing, either by mail or by email, on company letterhead stationery.
