Description
The contractor shall perform a study at CAMAN, Guaymaral Air Base  Cundinamarca  Bogot?, Tolemaida and Melgar Air base, Colombia of T53 engine shops in order to get accurate information for this survey. The purpose of this study is to implement a T 53 engine Limited Aviation Depot and a certified T53 engine test cell. The survey study should establish a plan by phase sequence covering a period of three years. The plan needs to include a detailed chronogram showing all tasking, activities and equipment needed to establish a depot T53 engine shop and operating T53 test ce ll. The study must include, at a minimum: 1.What is currently available? 2. What is needed? 3. Plan of action to achieve a successful engine shop and test cell i.e. how we are going to implement it? The final report shall have the answers in detail to thes e and other questions that may be pertinent. The contractor shall make no more than 3 visits to Colombia with at least one visit to the T53 engine shop at CAMAN for the purpose to facilitate the study. The first survey visit to be completed within the first 30 days of the contract. The second visit t o Colombia should focus the in-progress of the survey to CNMC 30 days prior to the final report. The third trip to Colombia will be 90 days from the beginning of the contract to explain the final report results in detail to CNMC. The contractor shall provide personnel with the necessary experience to facilitate an effective and thorough study to implement a T53 Depot engine shop to include a certified and operational T-53 test cell. The report needs to place emphasis on the followi ng areas in detail: T53 engine shop operations and quality control, training, technical assistance, equipment, tools, documentation, data and query services, spare parts and facilities
