Description

Department of Veteran Affairs, Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS), Contracting Office (90C), 1901 S. 1st Street, Temple, TX 76504-7451 anticipates a sole source award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract to ALCON LABS INC. Ophthalmic & Tax Section. Contractor shall furnish two(2) PHACO Emulsifier INFINIT SYSTEM OZIL with VIDEOVERLAY & accessories and ten(10) Torsional Handpieces that will replace the current outdated PHACO Emulsifier and accessories with ten(10) NeoSonix Handpieces. Following the guidelines outlined in FAR Parts 12 and 14, it is anticipated that the solicitation shall be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for acquisition of a commercial product. The applicable NAICS code is 622110 - and the procurement shall be Sole Source. The anticipated issue date of the written RFQ is 28 Nov 07 due date is 03 Dec 07. Only written quotation requests for this acquisition, submitted on company letterhead, will be accepted; FAX number is 254-743-0503
