Description
The Combat Terrain Information Systems (CTIS) Program Office of the U.S. Army Topographic Engineering Center (TEC) is investigating the feasibility of developing a 15-20 minute multimedia video presentation to be used to showcase the capabilities and successes of the Digital Topographic Support System (DTSS) family of systems. This multimedia video presentation is to combine snippets and sound bites of testimonials and interviews with high ranking military officials, DTSS users, program officials and other stakeholders in the geospatial community together with operational videos and images of the DTSS. No proposals are being requested or accepted under this RFI. Feedback addressing the clarity, feasibility, scope and potential alternative means of mee ting the governments requirements are sought. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for these requirements is 512110 - Motion picture and video production. The business size standard is $27M. Your response should iden tify your business size (large or small) in relation to this NAICS Code. While the end product will be UNCLAS, contractor personnel may require security clearances to the Secret level in the development of the video. Capabilities Package: TEC is assessing the existence of sources and is requesting capability packages from industry on the requirements below. Responses must be limited to no more than 20 pages and must address the following specific areas: Required capabilities must include: 1. Ability to develop a script and storyboard and to produce a multimedia video. 2. Ability to author, conduct and record video interviews. 3. Ability to record and capture videos and screenshots of the DTSS in an operational environment. 4. Ability to edit sound, music, video and images into cohesive showcase video 5. Personnel with subject matter expertise with the Digital Topographic Support System and US Army Operations 6. Ability to manufacture and mass produce the end product onto DVD Media with appropriate labeling. Requested information includes: 1. Description of offeror's capabilities 2. Samples of similar type efforts. Request your responses be provided to the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office. Interested sources are encouraged to submit product literature in response to this RFI. Any submission or such product literature or catalog cut s heets will be treated separate from, and will have no bearing on, any subsequent evaluation or proposals submitted in response to any resulting future formal Request for Proposal (RFP). TEC will not pay for information or comments provided and will not rec ognize any costs associated with submission or comments. Submitted material will not be returned to the provider.
