Description

The purpose of this announcement is to identify interested companies capable of providing services supporting the U.S. Critical Reagents Program (CRP). Required capabilities include any or all of the following: maunfacturing of Lateral Flow Immunoas say (LFI) strips for the detection of biological warfare agents in accordance with military specifications, manufacturing LFI carriers in accordance with compatability requirements for use in DoD detection systems, cutting LFI strips for assembly into mult iple DoD carrier systems in accordance with Government specifications under controlled temperature and humidity conditions, packaging products in accordance with military standards, labeling LFI products, storing products and reagents (e.g., antigens and a ntibodies) at appropriate temperatures required in the manufacturing process. Respondents should supply the Government with a description of their ability to perform the required capabilities described in this Sources Sought Notice. Respondents should al so include a description of current or projected ability to perform cold chain management and a description of production capability under the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Office of Health and Safety, Laboratory Registration and Select Agent T ransfer Program [42 CFR 72.6] for toxins. Respondents should indicate current or anticipated ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Level clearance.
