Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. It appears that only one responsibl e source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The only known source is Primavera Systems, Inc., 3 Bala Plaza W, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004-3481. USACE, Hurricane Protection Office in New Orleans, LA requires an on-site tra ining course, specially tailored for the use of Primavera P6 AND Pertmaster scheduling analysis software. The firm must be a certified Primavera P6 AND Pertmaster trainer. The course needs to provide project engineers, schedulers, and managers with speci fic training on the applications and interface of both Primavera P6 AND Pertmaster software packages. The course must be designed to accommodate ten (10) individuals on-site in New Orleans, LA from January 7-8, 2007 in order to meet the agencys needs.<BR > The proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the require ment or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider any proposals received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis.
