NAICS Code: 333618 Contracting Office Address Environmental Protection Agency, Administrative Contract Service Center, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20460 DESCRIPTION NAICS Code: 333618 - Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification & Compliance Division in Ann Arbor, MI intends to award a Purchase Order to Johnson & Towers, of Baltimore, MD, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this purchase order is to replace retrofit devises that match the technology that is being tested from school bus fleets. Contractor shall ship devices to fleet owners in Cleveland, Ohio and Maine. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333618 and this is a small business set aside. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Johnson & Towers is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as they are the original manufacturer of the original devices installed in the fleets owners' buses. Additionally, Johnson & Towers is the East Coast distributor for Donaldson filters, crankcase ventilation systems, and catalysts, and sale conduit between Donaldson and the fleet owners. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to Helen Britz, Contract Specialist at britz.helen@epa.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
