Description
U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command intends to solicit for the Rapid Equipping Force on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to AirRobot US, Inc., 169 8th Avenue Suite 5F, NY, NY 10011 for AirRobot AR 100 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). This system contains proprietary technica l features found on no other UAS. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete thi s proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of t he Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 3:30 pm EST, 26 December 2007. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a contractor's bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be c onsidered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB. The e-mail server will not accept messages with a .zip attachment. Otherwise, responses must be submitted via hard copy to: US Army RDECOMAC, AMSRD-ACC-CC (Schoerner), 4118 Susquehanna Ave., APG, MD 21005.
